FRISCO, Texas -- Bradley Wright-Phillips scored in the 71st minute to help the New York Red Bulls beat FC Dallas 1-0 on Sunday. New York extended its unbeaten streak to four games to improve to 3-2-5, and FC Dallas dropped to 5-3-1. Thierry Henry assisted on the goal with a through ball from the top of the penalty box to Wright-Phillips, who fired a shot into centre of the net from 6 yards. Wright-Phillips scored his sixth goal of the season and his fifth in the last three games. "Its one of those things when you are scoring you get the luck of the green," Wright-Phillips said. "Im just trying to get in the right spot and focus and hit my target." The Red Bulls played most of the game with a one-man advantage after Dallas Je-Vaughn Watson was given a red card in the 10th minute for a hard foul on New Yorks Tim Cahill. Watson kicked Cahill in the lower stomach. "It was a karate kick, I see those once or twice a year," Cahill said. After the game in the locker room Cahill showed the red scratches on his stomach from the foul. The two teams combined for four yellow cards on top of the red card. "It was a combination of things," New Yorks Dax McCarty said. "It was a stone-cold red card, extremely chippy play in the first half. In the second half it seemed the ref swallowed his whistle. I thought Dallas was very physical and did a lot of stuff off the ball that you dont necessarily want to see." The game was the 100th career game for Henry, who registered his third assist of the season on the goal. "Im not thinking of the 100th game, today we did enough to win," Henry said. " They (Dallas) played better than us with only 10 men, its difficult because Dallas did not deserve to lose." Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles made a diving save to his right side to stop Blas Perezs penalty attempt in the 58th minute. FC Dallas was awarded the penalty shot after Cahill was called for a foul on Danny Garcia. Less than two minutes later, Robles made a two-handed leaping stop to prevent a goal by Garcia. Garcia made his MLS debut in the game. Robles finished with three saves and FC Dallas goalkeeper Raul Fernandez also finished with three saves. "Very heartbroken and very disappointed," Dallas coach Oscar Pareja said. "On a day that we couldnt put a lot of things together, we end up losing against New York, a team that took advantage of their one opportunity in the second half. Disappointed to play 80 minutes with 10 men, its hard." Dallas played the game without Zach Loyd and Michel because of yellow card accumulation suspensions. Loyd and Michel had both started the last five games for FC Dallas. Last year, Currys Golden State Warriors beat James Cleveland Cavaliers 4-2 in a cracking contest, and this year promises to be equally fun. Our resident US sportswriter Alex Ferguson has your preview…. How do the NBA Finals work? Its a best-of-seven series, which means the first to four wins will claim the 2016 NBA Championship. The team with home court advantage should the series go to a final game (which we are all hoping it will) is Golden State, thanks to their record-breaking regular season record. If it goes that far, the seven games will be spread over 17 days, which adds recovery time (as well non-stop commentary, we should think!).Who won the last time they met? Golden State won both regular season games, one by six points and one by 132-98, in which Warriors coach Steve Kerr refused to call the dogs off… or LeBron and team stopped playing. You decide which. You know LeBron will be thirsting for revenge, while Curry & Co will be equally excited about continuing the dethroning of King James.Who are the Warriors key men? Steph Curry and Klay Thompson basically wiped away the Oklahoma City Thunders hopes of a Game 7 victory in the Western Conference Finals by blitzing them with three-pointers in the third quarter, winning the period 29-12.They hit SEVENTEEN in total. Oh, and Draymond Green is going to be defensively powerful, as will Andre Iguodala. But the biggest weapon for the Warriors isnt exactly defence - it is punishing teams that miss. Because the Warriors dont miss very often, and when they are hot, they are scalding. And the for the Cavaliers? For Cleveland, its not only LeBrons world. JR Smith, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving - have both been models of efficiency, and will have to do the same to the Warriors. We know what damage they can do from tthree-point range.ddddddddddddJames and Love will both be key defensively - as will Tristan Thompson. All of them will not only have to negate three-pointers being thrown from Curry and Thompson, but also Green in the paint. And as weve seen with Green, he doesnt play very nicely, either. Another key point is that Irving and Love will be available for the Cavs. Irving only played in Game 1 of the Finals last year while Love missed out entirely - and both were sorely missed. Why will Golden State win again?Because after struggling in the first half against Oklahoma City, the Warriors found their mojo and were virtually untouchable. That mojo is going to continue and James & Co may be unable to deal with it. Love and Irving might be consistent at the moment, but they wont have played under quite the pressure that they will when they face Golden States offence. Can Cleveland win?First of all, Cleveland has got the thirst. They have lost the last four games to Golden State - including two in the NBA Finals - and the last one was an absolute rout.Say what you want about Curry, LeBrons still the best all-round player in the game from both ends of the court. The Cavs have a three-headed monster in James, Love and Irving that lost two straight at Toronto after looking like they would cruise to a 4-0 victory, and then rebounded to win the next two. They have also got Smith, who is shooting as well as any Splash Brother at the moment - he leads all players in NBA three-point efficiency during the play-offs - and they can play defence.OK, so who will win?I am going to go for Cleveland in six games, setting up a great rivalry! Cleveland are a 7/4 underdog, by the way - and Golden State a massive 4/9 favourite. Also See: Warriors advance to NBA finals Cavaliers end Raptors dream ' ' '
